Description

This piece took on a life of its own.  I started painting without anything specific in mind.  The reds, oranges, and yellows blended together in a way that reminded me of a late summer sunset.  The colors turned out so vibrant and happy that I didn’t want to cover them up with a landscape or flower, so I decided to create a bold and detailed floral design which would let the colors show through.
